This policy explains what Voltek LLC ("Voltek", "we") collects from people who visit voltek.tech, request or rent a vehicle from us, or use our text-messaging and vehicle-access services, and how we use it.
To decide whether we can rent to you, prepare and sign your rental agreement, give you access to the vehicle, send rental-related text messages (see below), collect rent and deposits, keep the vehicle maintained and recover it if needed, comply with law, and protect against fraud.
If you opt in, we use your mobile number to send transactional and account messages about your rental: access codes, agreement links and signing codes, receipts, rent reminders and pickup/return instructions. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Our messages are sent through Twilio, a messaging provider that processes them on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who act for us (our hosting provider, our messaging provider, and, if you pay by card, our payment processor), with insurers and law enforcement when a rental is damaged, stolen or subject to a citation or claim, and as required by law.
Rental records, agreements and license images are kept for as long as needed to administer the rental and for up to seven years afterwards for legal, tax and insurance purposes, then deleted. License images are stored encrypted at rest and are viewable only by Voltek LLC staff who are signed in to our system.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, by emailing support@voltek.tech. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
We may update this policy by posting a new version here with a new date.
